Hi guys, just curious about those of you who had your engines replaced due to oil consumption, in so cal. Which Nissan dealer did you take it to? Some people have told me that certain dealers just brush you off so that they dont have to replace your engine. So I am just trying to avoid those dealers. I should of asked this before I took my car to the dealer.

call john @ performance nissan. he'll do a oil consumption test on ure next oilchange. then u go back after 700 miles or so and if the oil level drops then most likely he'll replace ure long block for you

west covina was great but lost some key people they helped me with my oil consumption but the new motor they put in is doing the same thing i took it to corona nissan to start the test again they said it wasn't low as soon as i got home i checked there was oil to the very top of the dip stick which im think they tryed to pour oil down the dip stick hole and left the oil cap with rtv on it still but after i cleaned it and checked again i was 1/8in low

 

im getting my motor replaced as we speak... getting it done at west covina, theyre paying for my rental car too.

 

would high flow cats void the warranty for engine warranty?
