Default Driving to Phoenix

Gotta make the drive from L.A. to Phoenix next week.

Haven't done it in more than 10 years, and wondering 1) if there are any speed traps to be on the lookout for, and 2) any recommended eating spots along the way.

Thx, guys!

Until you get to the scottsdale/phoenix area, there's literally nothing in between. It's a long and boring drive.

Try this site for speed traps http://www.speedtrap.org/speedtraps/...y.asp?state=CA

pretty much just stop in blythe. there's a bunch of fast food places there. that's where you'll want to fill up on gas too. After quartzsite becareful about the speed. hwy patrol lingers in the median areas. I got a ticket in La PAz county.

+1, my boss drove to LA last weekend, and got a ticket just outside blyth. Radar detector for sure. I usually average 85-90 the whole way though!!

Thx, good resource.

Looks like the areas around Blythe and Indio are pretty heavily patrolled.

Once you get into Phoenix, I could name some good spots. The only place I usually stop along the route to AZ is the first exit in Arizona (Pilot gas is cheaper and they have some good fried chicken) just after the blythe exits and crossing over the Colorado River.

If you want, you can join us at the Imports vs Domestics show, or anything our club is doing next/this coming weekend.
