Default POLICE / Traffic Enforcement Warning for Orange County...

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up, looks like the CHP is out in force today giving out tickets.

On my 18 mile drive to work, I witnessed 3 people pulled over for speeding. That is, I watched the cop do it, not passed it on the side of the road.

My V1 was going off like it was an ipod playing cheap techno.

Looks like the CHP's quota's are due and they are out in force to fill them up.

I saw 1 person pulled over in Irvine this morning. Maybe a mid-month Spring Break special day for 'em?

No this wasn't a chain mail, this was from my observations today.

I've never seen this many CHP active in a given local before.

10AM 405 south 25 miles through Orange County and my detector never went off...plus I never saw any CHP. There were a couple of speed racers that flew past me, so if there were any popo out there they would have been toast.

no no no, I know man. I was just making a joke that you didn't have to qualify your observations by linking it to a 3 year old chain mail

LOL *now* I get it...

Those chain emails?

But, there was a OCPD on my street (Katella / Main) hanging out with his radar gun, there was a cop with his radar on when I got on the 55s right before Chapman. There was a bike cop on the 22w before City Drive, and another at Harbor (where I exited). While on the 22w I watched 1 person get pulled over and saw 1 person being given a ticket on the shoulder. On Westminster there was a PD in a driveway with his radar gun out. When I headed back to the office (was at a customers) I saw 2 more bike cops on the 22E (one person pulled over). I saw 1 cruiser in anaheim on the 5n. One more on the 5n past artesia. And while driving down bloomfield there was 1 PD with pop Ka equiped gun hanging out before lakeview. And lastly, I've watched 2 people pulled over in front of my office (one by a Whittier PD in a Dodge Charger).

That or maybe they decided they want the new dodge chargers too.
