A friend of my recently told me that the law on tint has changed or something. is it true? He says that driving with tint on your front side windows is now considered a "moving violation" and fix-it tickets are no longer issued...? I was planning on getting my z tinted this weekend. Anyone want to chime in on this? thanks

Some people, like me, are lucky and don't get caught for tinted windows once.
Some people, like me, are not so lucky and receive no-plate ticket like once a week LOL
I have received 6 so far and there is NO WAY in hell I'm putting the plate back on!

Back to Topic...
(2) The window glazing with the material applied meets all requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 205 (49 C.F.R. 571.205), including the specified minimum light transmittance of 70 percent and the abrasion resistance of AS-14 glazing, as specified in that federal standard.
I heard in CA you can have 30% tint (70% transmission)... is that true? if so, I'm gonna have it retinted...
