Default Exhaust Violations In Soc

ok to clear things up sorry about the grammar miss eror

i just got done today going to the CHP office in santa ana i went because on my ticket it had said i needed to correct my exhaust violation after i put the stock exhaust on i went to the office and the officer told me that exhaust violations are not corectable at all and some officers do not know this and they make the mistake of putting corectable, you just pay a fee basically

the violation is not $400 to $600 because i had received this violation with a speeding ticket and the total only came to $232

Wrong. Try making your statement readable for starters.

Your statement is not very clear.....why do you capitalize the first letter of every word? That is not necessary and it makes your thread confusing to look at. If you want to put emphasis just put it in bold.

wtf?

So Officer pulls you over...

"Here's a ticket for your exhaust...pay it or see you in court."

$400-600???

Another officer pulls you over.

"Here's a ticket...correct it and pay administration fee."

*denied* you cannot correct so you still pay 400-600 dollars or go to court?

ticket for exhaust: checked non correctable: pay fee your done, hope you dont get caught again can be ugly. $?? allot
ticket for exhaust: checked correctable: fix it, take to station , sign off $10

OP...that's very odd. I got a fix it ticket in the LA county and all I did was go to the local PD, have them hear my exhaust, and they signed it off. My car wasn't loud at all to begin with, but they gave me an exhaust ticket anyways because the nismo exhaust with HFC is loud in residential areas .

Anyways, sucks about the ticket man...hope everything gets taken care of. Good luck!

apologizes.
Usually exhaust sound violations are $215-$250

Does not seem like he's charged for the exhaust, maybe he'll end up with the exhaust fine, after the referee's are active again.
