Default christmas lights in Los Angeles

Hey guys this girl I'm seeing loves Christmas Decorations, she wants to go on a walk somewhere with decorations.

Anybody know of any neighborhoods in the LA area that has residential streets that are ummm ... festive? I'm talking about over the top, lights up everywhere, fake reindeers on the lawn, a mechanical Santa Claus of the roof., jeesus in the manger displays etc...

I know the department of water and power has decorations up at Griffith park, but I'm looking for something more. There is also a street in San Marino, CA that I checked out, but that was just a street with large trees that were wrapped in lights.

thanks guys! beers for everyone for any help!

There is somwhere in Chino Hills. Don't remember exactly where but went last year. If you want over-the-top you should go there. I'll try to get more info.

yeah bud....check these out

goto griffith park. they have a light show..you drive thru it, aorund the golf courses and past the zoo. best bet is to take the 5 north get off at los feliz or griffith park and turn right.. and follow the signs...

if you want to see one house, goto the bailen mansion. its in pasadena at the top of lake.. a small street on the right, can't remember the name. but im sure if you called someone at the city they would know... but its at the top of the street, just past a stop sign and you can barely see it on the right from lake.... i'd have to drive there to get the name, sorry man.

also in pasadena, goto michelinda and rosemaead.. go up any of those streets, the eventually connect at the top of the hill.. and many of the side streets have lights...

Kinda far from LA but might wanna check it out. Davey's locker in newport beach offers a cruise around newport harbor seeing a lot of those nice houses all lit up for X-mas-

http://www.daveyslocker.com/paradeoflights.html

I think newport landing also have boats that cruise the harbor, not sure.

Here is the link to the Gondola place I mentioned to you in the pm. I'm sure a lot of the houses in Naples are decorated too.

On the reals, if you dont mind driving to the valley... there's a whole street of houses that compete each year, it's called "Candy Lane"

It's off the 101 here in Woodland Hills,Ca... If you're headed 101 North, you would exit "Winnetka Blvd." and make a right... on a weekend, you'll usually see a line of cars waiting to get in, from both directions... if not, make a right on Oxnard, and then a Right on Oakdale... and voila, instant "awWWwWWwWwW-ing" from the misses, and hopefully a nice night for you.. Enjoy!
