I need to buy a stock one if anyone has one . To the OP i was told by a body shop guy to just put a magnet behind the bumper and something between so you dont scratch up the bumper and it works great for temporary or permanent.

I recently got a fix-it ticket for no plates as well... I just used zip ties for the front plate which I know is "illegal" since it has to be "permanently affixed." But seriously -- they don't even check. Just park the car away from the side they'll be inspecting (walking to) your car from and most of the time they will just glance down at your front plate just to make sure you have it on.

The good thing about these fix-it tickets is that they can be signed off by anyone: a cop, a lady working at the front desk of a police station, or anyone at the DMV. If someone gives you fits about zip ties, just take it to the next person. I'm guessing it'll take you no more than two tries

PS: It would help if you used white zip ties instead of the bright neon green ones I stupidly bought one time

on zip ties, but I would use black ones instead of the common white ones.

You are correct -- I actually used black ones too (and not white ones)... they match better w/ the grill
