Sho,
I'm in for any canyon, but would like to suggest the first run that AudioPat took us to, Lake Hughes, Elizabeth Lake route. It is a very lonely run and no cops in about ten trips.
Just a suggestion, I'm in either way.

here's a suggestion...one of the first runs we ever did was through Simi and Santa Clarita Canyons...we met in Simi and took the 23 north to 126..then east to the 5..north to Lake Hughes Rd and all the way up to Lake Elizabeth rd...we stopped for a drink at Harley's Rock Inn (we could have just as well had something to eat there) and then continued to San Francisquito canyon...left over Spunky Canyon to Bouquet Canyon..then down to the Soledad Canyon and lunch at Rattelers Bar-B-Que....these canyons are long runs..it took us all morning 9a - 1p to complete..they are all very scenic canyon runs and much longer than anything that leads to the coast
This sounds good to me.... anyone second?

Thanks for your suggestion! Is this the same one from what Pat recommended or different?
Hey Sho..the run I suggested IS the run Manny is talking about
What's that line about Great Minds
Last time we met off the 118 at Yosemite but due to the larger numbers I would suggest we meet elswhere..I have a couple places in mind if we indeed make this our plan

That is great guys! We have talked about this run many times before. Pat I thank you again for turning me on to that run. I've had many great drives there by now.
Looking forward to 10/12 and all the "great minds"
Manny.

Pat:
Since I have never done that run before, it would be helpful if you can come up with a place to meet and plot our route! Thanks tons for your help with setting this up!!!!!!!

I think we need to add Zxsaint to the list since we're not doing Angeles Crest. And, what happened to MastapastaZ?
So, where are we meeting in Simi Valley. Pat, you know the area. Where and what time are we meeting?
