we will be meeting at the Mobil Gas station off I-15 and Route 76 at 7am. should be heading up the mountain by 7:30am. If enough people want to leave earlier, I will change the start time, but we will not be leaving later.

We will head up to palomar, then from there head to Julian. It will be rougly 100+ miles of twisties and fun. Slower cars please stay at the back of the pack.

I should have a printout of the route for everyone by then just in case we get split up.

 

Damn, that sounds like a great run, but I'd have to get up at 4am to make it, lol.

two more days people. Just so you know, I'm not leading the way. My car is too slow around the tighter turns. Someone else who knows the course better and drives it fast can lead.

 

How long is the drive uP and down the mountain. I have to be in Longbeach that day so I'm wondering if I can do the drive in the morning and make it to longbeach by lunch

 

Tarzan, if you're going from Route 76 exxon up palomar, down the backside, and then go straight back west on Route 76, it should take about an hour and a half. Its 30 minutes from the gas station to the base of Mt. Palomar.

we should be in Julian by 9-9:30. If you need to leave early to make it to long beach by noon, feel free to do so, You will still get the same drive, just not with the whole group. But we should be off the mountains and back on the highways by 10-11am
