Angry Don't go to True Line Wheel Alignment, Inc. in Kearny Mesa

I just had my car "aligned" at True Line Wheel in Kearny Mesa this morning. I went in, the only person that even spoke to me was the girl who had me fill out paperwork. None of the tech's spoke to me about my car or how the alignment went. Hell they didn't even give me any reference sheets to show what was before and after was. Until I asked for it before I left. I had asked the girl if they did their alignments according to the factory spec and she asked one of the techs and she said yes. **** NO they didn't, point is DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR TO THESE DOUCHEBAGS. I have been calling since 4:45pm and they close at 5:30pm. Going in tomorrow morning to demand my money back. So now I am looking for a new place to get my alignment done that won't screw me over. Need suggestions from San Diegians Please!!!!

Question hmm?

I have had most of my cars aligned by the true line in Kearny Mesa they have always done a wonderful job in fact they have done lots of other work for me and my family ranging from a $250,000 Beaver Patriot motor home to a Lexus sc430 to a lifted jeep wrangler Rubicon rock crawler to a Lexus sc300 and sc400 to a Mazda rx-8 to h2 hummer to a 1974 VW thing to a Shelby 427 cobra to my super street 400hp 350z with tein mono flexes camber kits all around toe kits and wide *** wheels with flipping big stop techs behind them and every thing they have done from alignments to brake jobs to suspension collision repair has been to the highest of quality, my family and I know Mike the owner and he does right by his customers. Post like this serve nothing but to show you didn't communicate properly with your tech and thats your own fault. Tell them exactly what you want done not assuming that they have telepathically read your mind so as to know what you want ...

But if you really want another shop, true line El Cajon is your next best bet they do every bodies stuff all the s2000, hot rods, Z's ,race cars, and all sorts of stuff.

I went out to there right when I got my Z back cause true line Kearny Mesa was closed for the day and my rear end alignment was jacked so yeah go you there...

If the techs say they align cars to each cars factory specs then why the **** was my car realigned with -1/2 degrees of camber in the rear and I have no toe in the rear now. I told the person in the front to tell the tech to have my car REALIGNED TO FACTORY SPECS. Why the hell would I go to another True Line location if this one can't even do it correctly the first time. Also I checked, they aren't even registered until BBB.org, hence now I know why.

sounds like you didn't communicate with the tech doing the work, and you don't have a real understanding of how alignments work in general. I would be surprised if any used car could get back into factory specs 100%. if the results are not to your satisfaction bring it back and have them try to get closer to factory specs - for all you know that is the best they could do.

Is your car completely stock because any change in wheels or suspension will surely throw off "stock specs"......

+1 I got my car aligned at precision Z and because I have a different set of wheels the rear camber was maxed out at -1.8 degrees with no more positive adjustment

If you can't go to True Line in El Cajon (well regarded alignment shop), Clarence Brown in Kearny Mesa is a good shop.

I took my car back and the manager or owner whoever this dude was didn't introduce himself. He laughed when he was comparing the 350z tech guide specs and what his tech had done. They got it where it needed to be but this should of been done the first time. Didn't even apologize or anything after I got my keys back. Pretty disappointed with the lack of customer service. Next time I will just head to Z Whizz or Clarence Brown. The only reason why I decided to go to TL was because I was recommended from a tuning shop.
