Hey guys my carbon fiber trunk/hatch is starting to peal and im assuming its the clear coat. I wanted to see if anyone knew where I can go to get it fixed in So Cal (Orange County), or if anyone had any sugestions on how to fix it.

Paint the hatch, very simple

 

I think most people would prefer not to paint their cf hatch if it can be fixed.

 

Ya I don't want to cuz I have a CF theme goin on. Black widebody with CF hood, pillars, roof, and hatch.

 

Terra usually has nothing nice to say... in for pics of the damage.

buy a better quality hatch/trunk?

 

The gel coat probably needs to be sanded down and re-cleared. Any legit body shop SHOULD be able to do this for you.
if you're ok with a small trip, you can hit up KW in city of industry area.

 

a bunch of ppl in this forum go to DTM... im sure they can help you... there a sponsor on the site so you should pm them and ask them

 

DTM fixed the carbon fiber lip on my V2 when i facked it up... they did an excellent job. i would take it to them if i were you.
