Are you staying up there on the 19th? Any hotel recommendations?

 

I'm afraid it doesn't look like I'll make it, as much as I'd like to be there to instruct. Move-in at the show is in full swing by then.

I haven't given up, though.

I stayed at the Super 8 my last time up there, and it was fine. I used to stay at the Motel 6 when I was racing there more often, and I never had any complaints.

 

i'll either be heading there from LA or bakersfield, so i'm not familiar with any hotels around buttonwillow.

Both times I tracked my Z at BW I stayed at the Motel 6. Cheap and decent. Not to much to choose from up there.

 

We'll be staying at the Homeland Inn

 

Does anyone know a good place to meet up for a caravan to buttonwillow? My friend is in Ontario, so it would need to be north of there. An easy to spot resturant after you get out of LA proper would be perfect. Lemme know!

 

OT: lowfuel, are you the one with the camera mount? will you be bringing the setup to BW? i'd like to check it out.

 

Yeah, Im bringing it. Wouldnt mind getting footage from different people's cars actually, if there's opportunity to move it around!

So did you guys have a good time? I really wish I could have been there to lend a hand, but we were pretty busy with move-in here at the show. Next time...

 

Had an awesome time. Definitely planning to go back!

 

I'll probably go to the one in may since I'll be extremely busy in feb.
