Default Looking for a mechanic that specializes in 350z.

My pops gave me his 350z cause he didn't want to deal with fixing it. So now I'm looking for a mechanic that can check the car out to see if I can fix it without rebuilding it.

The car sounds like its running on 5 cylinders and sounds really rough, I'm hoping it might be a coilpack issue and not something that involves the rebuilding of the whole motor.

If anyone can help please LMK. Thank you.

Too far bro, I'm in the SoCal area. I might just end up selling it.

You should just go see someone that specializes in nissans/infinitis. The VQ engine has been around forever and the VQ35DE is in many chassis that nissan/infiniti push out.

In reality, you'd probably want to start at an experienced non-dealership nissan mechanic (versus only a 350z mechanic). A decent mechanic will be able to diagnose your problem and give you a pretty good idea of what you're up against. THEN, go find a specialty z mechanic if the diagnosis warrants it.
