They are just trying to bring the Nissan community together. Great competition, great friend and fun times at the track. Fast guys show up, beginners show up. Some beginners slowly become fast guys as the year progresses. Some people are pretty serious, others are out for a friendly competition with fellow Nissan owners.

Time attack style format. Only safety gear needed is a helmet , but more gear is always welcome. There is a class for just about any build, stock Sentra to built GTR

 

Glad you SoCal guys have such fun events. It would help to mention what kind of series this is: drift, time trials or road racing? Or maybe it's just for track time?

I've done some track events with Speed Ventures before (specifically the Nissan/Infiniti Challenge event back in '10). But try as I might, couldn't find any details or rules on the "Corner 3 Nissan Challenge" anywhere on the Speed Ventures site. Also, nothing on the Corner 3 FB page either.

Must be a Cali conspiracy to keep all us mountain folk out...

 

Man those events are expensive

 

195 for a day of road racing in a closed enviorment with no police to pull you over....

OR

get caught on a mountain road and get stuck with
-wreckless driving = 515.00 fine and 1 point on record
-exhibition of speed = 300.00 Fine and 1 point on record
-speeding over 95 mph = 600.00 fine and 1 point on record
-Smog referee ticket = 200.00 find plus putting car back to stock to pass the referee

which equals 1600.00 + dollar fine. not to mention the insurance issues with the points and your license on the verge of going away.

went thru that twice... so 195.00 is a drop in the bucket compared to the consequences.

89$ for a full day in socal? You probably signed up for xs. Speed ventures is in a completely different league than xs imo.

 

So, anyone planning to hit some of these events ? I'll be doing 2 or 3 of the events
