Hey what happened to that Speed Force racing intake plenum that had too high of an A/R ratio? Did they ever fix that?

Default DON'T EVER GO TO PACIFIC NISSAN!!!!!

Hey guys,

STAY AWAY FROM PACIFIC BEACH in Pacific Beach!!!!

Bad news, very bad news! I went to pick up my car today after 45 days of body work with engine and tranny removal included due to frame damage. I came to find out that my clutch was burning...IN IDLE - Neutral!!!! There was 1-2 inches of clutch travel from the floor. It was stuck on the floor! They blamed me saying they told me the clutch has been worn down already but I have the option of putting it back together and getting it replaced later or they can replace it with the OEM one for 1400. I told him the clutch has over 6 inches of travel and now only 1-2. The manager tried acting smart eventhough he didn't know anything about cars and tried to explain how the clutch works and I totally clowned him by telling how it really works! Here's the list of problems I saw when I got there at Pacific Nissan.

- Clutch burning, no pedal travel from ground (half engaged), burning clutch at idle, and clutch rattle at idle

- Battery terminal not even tightened and fell off as I inspected the car

- Red + terminal cover was broken in half

- Door screw gourmets were missing on the passenger side

- Missing Armani glasses cuz they stole it!!!! (I don't car much I can get new ones)

- Rusted upper plenum bolts where the grounding wires were attached on the plenum (mine were new when I brought in the car to be repaired

Mind you, I drove the car home after the accident and it was fine, no problems with engine or tranny slipping. Only problem was AC condenser was busted so it made noise when turned on...

I am not taking this car back, no matter how they repair the car. I am demanding a new car! I have already put in a complaint with the insurance company.

Sorry for the long story, but even this was not enough to fully describe it. There are lots more, but I don't want to bore you guys. Thanks for reading anyways.

STAY AWAY FROM PACIFIC NISSAN in Pacific Beach!!!!

Agreed...

**** Pacific Nissan!

I bought my car there so naturally I went back there for an oil change. The manager was a nice guy but everyone else they hired to deal with your car are a bunch of punks.

I was hanging out in the lounge by the parts department and it took the guy at the counter fifteen minutes to look up a part, as if the Z came out last week.

Finally they bring the car back to me...
Some punk kid, looked like he was straight out of highschool, guns my car down the lot up to where I was standing. He hops out of the car with all my speakers blaring Ludacris on the static radio. "Nice car" and throws me the keys. I'm thinking to myself (damn kid you're going to blow my cheap @ss speakers)

WTF? How professional is that?

Then to top it all off:
They washed the car and probably dried it with a bunch of dirty rags. I didn't ask to get it washed and I don't mind (not **** at all) but the car came back to me dirtier than when I brought it there. ok no big deal I'll wash it later....

Came home and noticed the bottom of my sideskirts scratched from their lift. Is this how they do business I'd hate to take my car there for warantee work if I'm going to get pissed off a measily oil change.

NEVER going back there again.

Sorry guys 350zXtreme reminded me of my dirty experience but I had to get it off my chest.

Shoot man, this is just an *** job. Good thing I checked. They had the battery cover closed, so lucky I checked, otherwise I might have sparked something if the terminals for the battery fell off. They are horrible. No wonder their body shop is not located in the dealership lots, otherwise they would have lost all business today with me screaming and yelling at the manager and his crew.

Well sounds like the bad car karma is going around. My car kissed or should I say french kissed a guardrail this morning after a couple 360s. F@cking Cali freeways. I HATE THE RAIN.

....its a scary sound .... you will get a good 3 hours out of em before they pass out ... a headache is sure to follow

Wow, yeah I was drunk...my wife was how should I say this, displeased by that little episode...

OMG! Rob! You mean your turbo beast is in the drain? Or is it just a light body damage?

I don't know yet. I was unfortunately not at the helm. I'll know more tomorrow.
