Nope, but I saw the pictures, and I know Nissan ... it isn't likely to compare to that of the Lexus, Acura, Audi and Infiniti I am looking at.

Thats true I guess although I've never been a luxury first buyer so how much weight does my opinion really hold..

Yeah ... I spent 3 hours at Lexus last night... got the numbers all together on an IS350 Prem Package, Nav, Cargo, Wheel Locks and (forced upon me) 18" Chrome Wheels, plus I get the factory 18s that came with the car.
Sage Green w/ Beige Int. ... very classy looking.

$40k + TTL ... I walked .... dealers here are rediculous

Well I mean what is in your budget honestly? You aren't getting IS350 numbers for the money in a G unless you boost it.

Jim,
Since I'm probably older than all of you at the gtg's, my advice would be....
keep the Z and buy a house

House ... now is not the time for something like that ... too much uncertainty.

Land Rover LR3 is bada$$ guys. I didn't get to the Infiniti Dealer in time for a FX35 drive ... but I know the FX45 quite well. I think I am making the SUV switch ... I don't know ... after spending a LOT of time (and I mean a lot) with the Lexus, Acuras and my Z ... I really just don't think I want a small car anymore.

RobChad (since you two are pretty much attached at the ... well ... you know),
I am pretty sure we are gonna need to get me setup with some kind of S14 soon though .... you know I want boost ... and you know I can't be w/o a sports car

Can you say .... summer project?

I had an IS350 challenge me a couple days ago. He pulled on me at first because I wasn't planning anything. He had me until I hit 4th and then I passed him going up hill. It is a nice car though, and without my mods, he would have had me. Now the FX35 is fun and comfortable. I had one for a loaner from Discover Infiniti in Escondido. I'm sure you'll agree that the ride is very similar to the G when it has the 20's on it. I remember that in a comparison test, the FX45 out performed the BMW X5 before as well. That's why BMW pushed the 4.6i to a 4.8i.

Later,

Ray

I had a loaner FX for one day a while back. Drove ok, but I hated the shifting in the auto, so much lag.

I think Razorx35 has everything modded NA except for cams. Correct me if i'm wrong Ray.

No teasing Rob ... I don't tease.

The IS350 has dyno'd up to 270whp (I think Ray was 266) so far .... I wouldn't doubt Ray would have some trouble with one up until 100+

Josh,
I hear ya on the manu-matic shifting in the FX ... I would just put it in drive and deal with it ... there really is no sport in any SUV.

Well ....
I just bought a Corolla today though ... '99 gold/tan ... good beater for now.

Jim,

some gold spinner hubcaps would look tight on that corolla.
