Help: got a fix-it ticket
I got a fix-it ticket from a cop who likes to pull over modified cars. He got me for my tinted headlights and taillights among other things. Can anyone lend me their stock headlights and taillights so I can have my ticket signed off? I live in the Rosemead area and I will be willing to pay for all the trouble. thanks.
Just an FYI: I'm not sure about headlight/taillights, but as far as window tint, if it was a city cop that gave the ticket, the city can't force you to take it off, however they can make you pay a hefty fine (~$100). I found out the hard way, but it was still cheaper and less hassle than taking it off and putting it back on.

I believe the law is something like the reflector strip on the rear tail lights must be visible from 30 feet away...
and I think the tail light and headlight fixit ticket mods are you going into the DMV and saying you fixed it and its 10 dollars... I do not think it requires inspection...
