Z Club of Texas APEX driving Academy at Motorsport Ranch
Looks like we are good to go for Monday June 27 for the APEX driving Academy day at Motorsport Ranch.
We will be limiting it to a total of 16 drivers. You don't have to be a Z Club of Texas member to participate.
We still have a few openings and would like to fill them with Z Cars first.
I will add drivers to the list based on when I receive payment.
I will need a check for $150 made out to APEX Driving Academy for each driver or you can PayPal me $154.65 per driver to z327@comcast.net. It's a little more to cover PayPal's fees.
If mailing a check, please send it to:
Warren Kline
6421 Hillview Ln
Sachse, TX 75048
I recommend no more than one driver per vehicle or you will loose time on the track.
I will need your payment as soon as possible to reserve your spot. The remaining spots will be filled by the order I receive the payments and I have no way of knowing how quickly they will fill up. Below is the schedule for the day. Please note the Z Club of Texas is Group 1. We will not have anyone in Group 2. The morning is spent getting instruction and two lead follow sessions. Then we get 4 25 minute open track sessions in the afternoon. A Bargain at $150.
BYOC
Bring your own car!
BYOC allows clubs and individuals to use their cars for driving school at the MotorSport Ranch. Apex grads get out earlier; new students get extra instruction to make the day a safe and educational experience.
Below is the time line for groups on BYOC.
1. 8:30 Arrive and sign in.
8:30-8:40 Nick out
2. 8:45 Unique Meeting Nick/John
3. 9-9:25 Classroom GP1 GP 2 Track
4. 9:30-10:15 Drills GP 1
5. 10:15-10:45 Classroom GP1. GP 2 Track
6. 10:50-11:20 Lead/follow GP1
7. 11:25-12:15 Lunch GP1 GP 2 Track
8. 12:15-12:25 Meeting GP 1 GP 2 Lunch
9. 12:30-12:55 ADV. Lead/Follow GP1
10. 1:00-1:25 GP 2 Track
11. 1:30-1:55 GP 1 Track
12. 2:00-2:25 GP 2 Track
13. 2:30-2:55 GP 1 Track
14. 3:00-3:25 GP 2 Track
15. 3:30- 3:55 GP 1 Track
16. 4:00-4:25 GP 2 Track
17. 4:30- 4:55 GP 1 Track
Each GP 1 Student will be able to do skid pad during any open session. I will take groups of five over there.
All cars must be in good operating condition; this is each student's sole responsibility. Apex will have rental school cars available at an extra cost. School will run in the rain. There is no refund for rain days.

I don't know if Apex can take them over the phone, you can give them a call at (817) 320-7165. Ask for John Holmes and tell him you wnat to join the Z Club on Monday June 27.
Let me know which way you decide to pay so I can put you down on the list.

I have upgraded my PayPal account to Premier Business status. According to their web site:
For new buyers, signing up for a PayPal account is now optional. This means your customers can complete their payments first, and then decide whether to save their information in a PayPal account for future purchases. The checkout is more convenient, resulting in more completed sales and satisfied customers.
Best of all, this upgrade requires no action on your part. The checkout automatically applies to Website Payment tools like Buy Now Buttons, Donations, and PayPal Shopping Cart, as well as our Request Money and PayPal Invoicing features.
Here’s how this easier checkout works:
Customers enter their name and shipping address.
They’re prompted for their credit card, email address, and phone number.
(Optional) After reviewing their information, they may choose to save their information by creating a PayPal account to make future transactions faster.
Please note that PayPal’s fraud prevention measures remain in effect for buyers who use this checkout. PayPal applies the same techniques for this checkout as it does for other transactions.
To turn the feature off, simply go to the Profile subtab, click on Website Payment Preferences under the Selling Preferences column, and check the yes/no box under PayPal Account Optional.
So if you can email me a email address that is not tied to your PayPal account I should be able to send you an email invoice and you should be able to pay without opening another PayPal account.
Email me at z327@comcast.net and we can try it.

Randy sorry we can not take CC yet. We are currently redoing the website to add such a feature. The Motorsports Ranch can take CC. Apex can not just yet. Sorry for the confusion you caught me going through security at DFW.
For those of you coming out it will be a great day. We will have CG-Locks that you can try and buy. We will let you put it in your car and try it.
You must wear long pants. Or you will have to rent a driving suit. I will also be conducting a tech day Sat June 25. There will be a press release soon.
Hart Photography will be out taking pics of all cars on the track that day if you want professional pics of yourself out on the track.
If you have any questions please ask.
