Hey all,

Haven't seen much activity as far as Houston Meet n Eats lately, so I am going to drum up interest in another meet!


Date

Location

Red Robin Burger at Beltway 8 and Richmond (the usual hangout). This place has always had a great parking lot.

Cruise

What about a Z Cruise, you say? Well I have been thinking of a good route to drive (i.e. one with NO potholes every 10 feet). What about a mostly freeway cruise? Would people do that? it would allow us to get out of 3rd gear!!

What about Westheimer drive west to Hwy 6, then North to I-10, then East to Beltway 8, then south back to Red Robin? It would cost about $1 for the toll I think, so if this is a problem we can do something else like take an alternate exit from I-10 and get back to Red Robin.

Hey nexstage.....Is your 350z white with red strips and rims? I keep seeing that z in my area (NW). Sherwood lane/ Oak forest area. Wondering whos it was?

sup man! sorry mine is the one that is black with black wheels. im always driving around the nw area. really i have no idea who that is, but i think i've seen it around, rarely though. hey if u like im heading out to that meet over there at hwy6 and fm 529 copperfield area. if u wanna hook up let me know or just pm with more details. i should be going there with a few friends that has Z, g35, and lexus is300. its a crappy meet, but hey its something.

Can't make it this weekend, the car is going into the shop. The damn rear axle clicking needs to be fixed! Next weekend, I MAY have a surprise!

i went to one of these meetings a few weeks back and 5 whole cars showed i hope this one will be better...

 

the last one of these specific meetings IIRC, was about 1.5 months ago and had about 12-13 Z's....unless i totally missed the thread about it. there are other, lesser known meetings that happen all the time...but this location has had a decent turn out lately

I'd be in for next weekend. If there is a cruize it should without a doubt consist of Memorial inside the loop. One of the few fun roads to drive on in town.
