Okay, in standing with the every two week meet I am going to go ahead and start the thread. Again I apologize to everyone for my scheduling fo pa Saturday and for this meet I have made sure this will not happan again.

I will as I did for Saturday map a cruise we can take to get some video...

In reading the thread everyone was pretty kool about the location except for the heat so I think this time we should meet at a resaturant(in Grapevine) so we have the option of going inside or hangin out around the cars.....

The place will be La Casa Mexican restaurant June 17th@ 2pm...here is the address, they have a patio here as well

This restaurant is in like a "U" shaped shopping center right on Northwest Hwy so there will be plenty of parking and for those who like "lookie loos" probably plenty people driving through checking out the cars.

Hope everyone can make it back out because I did not get to see all the cars and I am really pissed about it.....thx all.....

Why don't we meet a little bit later than 2 pm this time? Say, 4 pm? That way, it starts to cool down as more and more people arrive. Also, could we have a bit more organized parking this time, as last time it was just random placement of cars everywhere? Just a suggestion.

come on Chris, thats why i picked the restaurant with a covered patio....it will be enjoyable and the sun won't be beating us down....

 

Haha, alrite. That's fine. I just felt like saying something was all. I'll shut up now. But, about the parking of our cars though. I really think that needs to be addressed. You saw how people were parking last time. It would be nice to tidy that up a little.

All I have to say is that people need to stop parking right next to each other. Leave a 1 car or 1/2 a car width between cars so people can walk around and also get some good pictures of everyone's cars.

I've got to admit, I really liked that Don Davis Nissan show back on 4/9/2006. If we could do something like that again, but without actual judging, etc....just hanging out and helping promote a dealership or something, that would be fine by me.

I've met a lot of new faces this summer through these meets, and I'm really happy about that.

 

I'll be getting there a bit early too.. just so that I don't have to play catch up later on.
