Need alignment shop recommendation:
I need an alignment in a hurry. I was planning on going to the NTB in Grapevine but the google reviews were horrendous! Any suggestions in the Coppell, Lewisville, Grapevine area? I can't afford to drive more than 10 miles in my current condition.

i went to the ntb in grapevine and they gave me hell, not sure how low you are, but the one in valley ranch off of 635 did mine and they were cool... but they dont have an in ground rack
If you're that desperate for an alignment shop, just start calling around for different NTBs, Firestones, Sears, and even the local mom/pop shops. If your car's been lowered, make sure they have an in-ground alignment machine. Some shops will also charge extra for modified cars because of level of difficulty, additional time, additional adjustment, etc.
Thanks man. I ended up going with Firestone in Coppell. They were able to get the tires I wanted, and Jason on the phone was extremely helpful.
They don't have an in-ground alignment rack, but the car is only lowered 1.1" So we shouldn't have any problems while using their 2x12 boards.

I am willing to drive a distance if I can find a shop that really understands our Z's. The guys at Firestone were very nice and worked hard on my car, but they were confused about how the different rear arms and rods worked together. In the rear I ended up with the driver's side wheel 1/2" closer to the front of the vehicle vs. the passenger side.

^^ odds are that rear #23 "radius rod", on top of poor quality, was also adjusted wrong, where one side of the car was longer than the other and the misaligned side was taking way too much load/forces and finally snapped...
I mention earlier in this thread about this - and that it shouldn't be changed unless you know exactly what your doing......the oem is fine because its strong, at the very least you can change the bushing out in it, but its not a bushing that tears, gives way, etc...its compliance is minimal....

Take it to a race shop. Quite a few people I know take their cars to Texas Track Works in Fort Worth. Cobb at Plano can also do a custom alignment. I'm sure other shops like Jotech, AWD Tuning, PRT(?), etc can either do the alignment or point you in the right direction as well.
OR.. you could put the OEM arm back on instead of keeping that aftermarket traction arm that most people won't understand what the adjustment will actually do (I'm guessing even at some race shops). At the very least, get the exact length of the OEM arm and just match the aftermarket arms to be that length, then take it to any alignment shop so they can play with the regular camber/toe.

Nvm just saw an old message you left me a while back about wanting to see my Swift Springs and saw your Signature "Eric". Your car in your avatar is similar to another PPW in my area. I live in Watauga.
An update on my paint job. There's lots of spider cracks through out the bumper and I also recently noticed some clear coat runs. I have no idea how I missed them the first few months. Maybe I was too excited to finally put it on that I over looked it but yea, they're there at a couple spots. I'm not sure if the spider cracks are the painters fault or if the polyurethane was too flexible. He warned me in advance that it was gonna be hard to paint and that he would have to add an additive to make the paint flex. It held up for a long time though. Anyone else have problems with paint on Aerosync bumpers? Or polyurethane bumpers?

Trying to see if any of ya know a muffler shop that is either in ground or low car friendly.. Trying to get parts of exhaust welded back together I have a large exhaust leak any help would be nice

Just in case you guys are wondering about a good body shop. We have a vendor in the DFW area his name is Stephen, aka R1 Autoworks. He basically does everything you can imagine. He can get you any parts, paint and install your parts with a great reasonable price with badass quality, and can do custom work on your 06+ headlights. (Ironman, demon eye, black housed). Really legit guy.
