Default can someone tell me why my car does this?

Lately, since about december or so, every now and then my "brake", "vdc" and "slip" lights will all turn on at the same time while driving and just stay on. Sometimes they turn off by themselves, sometimes they wont turn off til i turn the car off..... hell even sometimes they wont turn off for a whole day. Does anyone know what this may be? Im about to take my car in to try to get the transmission replaced since my 3rd and 5th gears are messing up. Any help is appreciated!

That happened to me once. I had to shut the engine off and on before all the lights went away. I was concerned at the time but it never happened again the 3 years I've owned the car. I'm curious also as to way this would happen.

Yes, brake fluid is low, which probably indicates that your pads are about shot; be sure to check them as well.

On the dyno they go off because of the front wheels not spinning. This happened to me when I had a change of brake pads and leaked some fluid out by accident. I added a little bit of fluid and it went away

That could be it as well. Something is making the fluid level drop and it's likely not a leak.

Mine has done this 3 times in the last month...I'll be checking my brakes tomorrow, I had chalked it up to needing new tires.
