guess I'll play the ***, but transmitting through FM is been around since the late 70's and second it would be stereo at best, not surround sound.

I know where that place is...I think it is far from everyone.

 

I don't know if they can broadcast in surround sound in FM, but if they can....my radio can play it. I have Dolby DTS on my head unit.

I saw this place the other day while riding the gixxer out on 2920.....looked new. I was like....huh? a "new" drive-in....that's like an oxy-moron. lol.

 

I dont believe the Dolby license would allow it, nor is possible via FM

There been a few drive-in that have come up but they all die within a year or two
Only open nights, cant rain, cant be too hot or cold, you never have a decent viewing spot, and your sitting in your car= no one goes = no money

All I know if I took my GF there she would be pissed off = no suckie,suckie= me not going

 

great for teens to play stinkfinger and parents with little kids that may cry during a movie. I hope it does well.
