Default Need a new windshield!!!!!!!

Wednesday morning. I went outside and noticed that my Rearveiw mirror was hanging.... After almost hitting an old lady Thursday morning while I was backing up . (Mind you she was walking across the parking lot of a gas station instead of walking on the sidewalk)... Anyway.... I thought I need to get this mirror back on. I went and bought the stuff to put it back on. And this morning, not even 3 min after I left my house. The DAMN mirror fell of again but with a piece of my windshield attached to it..... About the only thing I can do right now is laugh about it. But I know once I find out how much this is going to cost me. It will get to me. Anyone know a place I can get one in Houston?

Try www.safelite.com. They can schedule a replacement from a local shop almost anywhere in the country, and they come to your home or office to do it. I recently had mine replaced for an '07 roadster for about $300, and the job was perfect. Be sure to request the premium windshield and a new seal.

no, I dont think that's what you would like. IMO, Factory is not that strong. The glass I got looks like factory though. I havent had problem with it. It's up to you if you want to get the OEM price tag.

I deal with a place called Crash Parts in SA, have for years. They sell to body shops mainly. Last Z window I bought was identical to OEM and about 125.00.

Im thinking Crash is a state wide company.

Yeah I got mine replaced at my office for $135ish. It was from the place off of Hilcroft and 59. I never can remember their name.

your insurance should cover almost all of the windshield bud... good luck though. Let me know if something changes.
