Default Clutch install in Dallas

Chris, Jim, Nick and anyone else who has an aftermarket clutch/fw...who installed yours and what was the price (in Dallas)? Ive been quoted about $550 so far.

ACT clutch/fw. Gettin one bc I dont have much else, power wise, to get on the car other than FI (which Im still on the fence about)

Go as light as you can because you dont want to wish later that you would have gone lighter. I had a ACT pro light chrome moloy on my SI and and it was like a motorcycle. Get a sprung hub if you can. Much easier to drive. I dont know if they have that for a Z but worth looking into.

I believe the act is a spring hub..could anyone verify this?

Dealership did mine during tranny replacement. Did you get the clutch already? I have a nice JWT clutch/flyhweel (14 lbs) combo with about 3k miles on it if you are interested. It's still in the car but if you can find a decent deal on labor we can work out a swap if you are interested. I paid $730 for the combo new. Definitely do both when you have the tranny out.

Yes they have both if I remember correctly. The JWT is spring hub also.
