update:

flat/matte black will have a little shimmer to it... a little luster, but not glossy.
glossy black, not a problem
gunmetal due to variation in different gunmetal colors matching may need to take place. that's where the samples really come in handy, they send out, you estimate if darker or lighter is necessary and we will adapt as necessary as close as possible for us to match.
other colors are available, for you guys looking for a different custom look, just let me know.

packaging is coming along good, i think you guys will like.

Black Chrome, more difficult, we working out the details for it, mainly we think it might look like a rather dark gunmetal, i have yet to see a sample so i will wait to draw conclusions.

there we go

prototypes for me are going to be... ugh... but there ya go... if it was easy it wouldn't be worth it huh?

imo for gunmetal, i think you should just make or come up with one shade in which you personally think will be liked by the consumers as to not have many variatiojns, that might turn into one bad headache if you let the customer always choose a shade.

thats fine by me, but for someone that is trying to get a perfect match for their Volks or for their emblems then they will need a close match. I know ADR has a lighter color of gunmetal than Volk.
And yes its extra trouble on my part but for you guys just understand that this is our level of interest and our promise of quality I talked this over with my partner and he agreed that we should do that even though that complicated our process a bit. But here is the good news, we are working on a way to track and maintain a file of each person so the next time we make available a product that requires matching we will already have on file the exact color in which you are looking for. So while we sweat a little today our database grows larger... And we can simplify the process for all of us down the road.
so dont worry we're going to be here to get you want you need, not give a part that you will have to settle for.

Besides how odd would it look for one of you guys to have so much work put into you car's color scheme only to have something that doesn't match on it somewhere only because the company you bought it from only had one color available when we clearly have the means to get it done right?

I know some will say wiring is simple... Put this wire here and that wire there and presto! You have a blinking door handle with Kung-Fu grip...
But we are looking out for the most basic of consumer... Assuming no knowledge on installation process on cars... So until we have a Nissan Certified Installer on staff were not quite sure who is to be installing our products at this time.
Exactly. I never set out to create something for the masses. If you guys can come up with something that will be easy to install, reliable, with an OEM finish, I will be surprised. It would take alot of prototypes and effort to get it working properly.

yeah thats exactly what i was getting at... i'm glad you said it better than i did. your handles overall work looked good, but like you said it wasn't made for the masses...

tell you what though... i wouldn't mind consulting with you on future projects...

but if or when we decide to do the LED handles, we will be manipulating these in 3D cad way before we manufacture anything to ensure they will work as best we can.
