Ok..its decided..I'm going. I think I have every thing I need except a camera mount and a suit and gloves.
I'll be posting further here in this thread and hopefully some others will join in and we can caravan down there and represent the 350Z!!! This would be very cool to roll into town with several Z's on trailers!!
I think for this year to start I will be running in the 110MPH class. This doesn't look like it will be cheap or for the faint of heart!
I'm already filling out the paperwork to get the ball rolling..there are only 56 days until the race!!!

Hey, I was the one who introduced you to this event so at the minimum, I think I should be your navigator!

And WTF!? 110mph group! I would do that on my NA Z. You've got a TT . . . have some ***** and join the Vettes at the higher mph!

lol gee thanks..I would rather drive it a few times before I sign into a higher class..I wont talk any smack about anything untill I've driven the course!

 

That's cool man, just giving you a hard time. I wish I could go next month but just have too much going on that weekend. Heck, you don't need a navigator . . . just bring a GPS and you'll have the route in front of you the entire race.

gotta read the rules...the local sherrif's dept is involved...blocking the roads! This is all legal etc..go to the website www.BBORR.com and read the rules and regs..it explains it all.

 

yeah I looked through it but couldnt find what I was asking. Unlimited class here we come. Can we have multiple entries?

 

Nvm unlimted doesnt work, way to many things have to be done to the car beyond power and suspension, that and Im not old enough to codrive unlimited, im only 18

I'll be in the "touring" class @ 110 unless I decide to change by Friday before the race. I will have driven the course twice by then...
Right now there isn't anything special I need with the exception of gloves. My car the way it sits will suffice... I do have to get and install a fire extinguisher. I already have a helmet.

These are the only safety requirements in the class I am driving in. Of course they recommend roll cage etc etc... and the requirements go up as the speed/class increases..

That sounds awesome. I plan on doing the Silver State Classic Challenge at some point.
