Hi,
I just moved to the DFW area and I'm wanting to see if you guys have any cool driving routes to take a Sunday cruise?? something to check out the area and take my wife on a cool cruise....
I just moved here from San Antonio and back there we would take hill country drives with my buddies in their Z's, 240z, etc and then stop for lunch....have a blast.....
with summer coming i want to see whats available or what are the routes around here in Dallas...
so far ive been searching near by state parks and lakes.....
maybe we can plan a group cruise????
thanks,
- Jason

We did have a cruise last summer (called "North Dallas Summer Sunset Cruise") every weekend. I led it a few times, but it was definitely a bit of a drive for most people (north of McKinney) and the cruise alone was 50 minutes and 50 miles long. Search for the threads (there should be several) and take a look at the cruise route.
I wouldn't mind doign the cruises again (different route though), but I doubt I can make it to any with so much crap to do.

Also, please don't tailgate (you know who you are) - following = good, right up somebody's *** = bad. In case there's a need to brake hard (animals, pot holes, other cars, etc), we don't want you to run into our rears - if that happens, you're paying for my $500 deductible.
Just curious, who's interested in a slow, chill cruise where you can just relax (i.e., drive around a lake) and who's interested in a slightly fast paced cruise with a few twisties (i.e., the link I posted above)?
