i drove by speedzone the other day, and the big "grand prix" track is all torn out and its just a grass field. i assume they are going to replace it with a cooler track?
theres a new indoor kart/bowling/pizza/games/etc place opening soon in mesquite. i think the same company has a location in irving area. there is also celebration station in mesquite and probably several others..
BUUUT. most of them im sure have gimp *** slow family carts.

Yes. The track is in the San Antonio area. Here is a link to thier website:
http://alamokarts.com/
The Nissan/Infiniti Club in San Antonio is working on some things right now. We are trying to get some of the other car clubs in our area to join in for some kick butt competition.
I will keep you folks posted.

That looks like a hell of a lot of fun.
We were at AJ's karts about 2 months ago, one of the fastest cart tracks in the north east.

Yes. They way they have prices show, they are confusing. That is why I've been able to obtain group prices which are much better. Now, here is the only problem. You will have to ware jeans, tennis shoes and a long sleve shirt in order to be allowed to drive the karts.

They had some pants that I could put on AND some of their long sleeve shirts, however, I would contact them in advance and ask them.

Yes I know it's for safety reasons. But in reality, how much faster are these compared to speedzone go karts when open to the public? I think they allow you to wear short, short sleeve shirts, and probably don't even need tennis shoes either, not 100% sure but I don't think they are really that strict. Just my opinion anyways, I'd like to be somewhat comfortable driving.

Also, before/after you race, you will be able to hang out inside. Here are some pictures of the inside.
