Default Gas Mileage?

Just got in from a VERY enjoyable 550+ mile roadtrip to the Texas Hill Country (sure wish I could have hooked up with some of you Austin Dudes/Duddettes). Austin, Boerne, Johnson City, San Marcos, etc...just kind of rambled around for a few days.
Of course, the Z performed flawlessly !
Just curious...
What kind of gas mileage is everyone else getting?
I had a low of 23.4 and a high of 23.9 mpg.
I was thrilled, especially with some of the speeds I saw

I average around 21. But i have not really been on any long trips. I need a buy a bra 1st before hitting the road on a long trip.

Have you checked into that clear 3M Brand Film rather than a bra?
My buddy Ken, here in Houston has it and is really pleased with it.
Be forewarned though, it's not cheap. It IS a good investment on a great car !

the clear bra i think is a must for this car, unless you want to be replacing/repainting bumpers every 6 months. mine was looking really bad after about 2 months, it's absolutely horrible now; the entire front bumper feels like sandpaper ... it not even really blue anymore.

as soon as i get a new bumper, it will be getting a clear bra asap!

gas mileage ... im getting about 16-17mpg.

Back to mileage.

Normally get on the order of 18 around town - all stop and go in traffic. Took it on a long drive that included a fair amount of freeway driving (70 - 85 mph) with a very nice long stretch of twisty roads in the mountains. Refilled tank with 16 gallons for 410 miles - slightly over 25 mpg. VERY PLEASED.

You're too nice to your Z, Mike! lol

When I don't have any track time on my car, I average between 21 and 23, but when I've tracked it, I'm still impressed to see that I'll end up with an average around 17-18 mpg!

What is that? And how much? Easy installation? How about removal?
