Ditched the 46 inch samsung led for a 51 inch samsung plasma today. I'm really enjoying not having any flash lighting or bleeding, I also can't wait until I can calibrate it!

I went to check my HFC's today and found one bolt at the mid to y pipe was missing, and the other was loose. Seemed to fix the problem as of now. Hopefully that was the problem.

Thanks a lot. I'll definitely keep you guys in mind. I'm kinda hoping the noise will come back before I leave Monday so I can get it taken care of once and for hopefully. It wouldn't surprise me if the problem isn't fixed, just based on the noises I was hearing.

No problem man. Yea I definitely understand wanting to have it all taken care of before you leave. Either way I hope it works out for you.

well i got responses.. anyone know of a good detail shop in the Arlington, TX area that could possibly buff out the headlight for me, without charging out the bum?

Try to claybar to see if it works, if not try meguiars plastx next..if those don't work you'd probably have to wetsand/polish the headlights.

If you've "melted it" with the goof off...then it might not clear up.....but if it's just on the very surface then I think you can wet sand it and have it buffed out.

Yeah only reason I didn't reply is because I am leaving Monday so I've been detailing my own car for the past 2 days and have to pack and finish tomorrow.

I'm sick as a dog currently, but that's small enough that stu might be able to help you out before he leaves.
