So a friend of a friend claims to have "killed a boosted fully built 350z" out at mineral Wells in his 5.0 mustang at autox. And said he can corner better than Z's no doubt while his car is fully stock. How in the hell? I have respect for these cars but that's a long shot -____- too much mustang pride has gotten to his head. One of you experienced drivers needs to put an end to this.
So this made me curious since there were two new 5.0 mustangs at the last autox we had on January 29th. I went and looked at the results from that day. I finished in 8th place in our class (class 2) and still managed to beat both of the mustangs. I know it's not necessarily proof that this guy is a liar, which I think he is lol, but I would think that in order for that car to beat something purpose built for racing in a bone stock set up that it would have to be a pretty fast car for anyone to drive regardless of experience. I'm not very experienced at all either. Hell Scott and Chris normally beat me by about 2 seconds at pretty much every event.

I drove around again today and no issues.
Car pulled stronger than before especially in first and second.
I wonder if I have been losing some timing advance even though the knock sensor didn't throw a SES. The code was a low output from the knock sensor, but I don't know how the ecu interprets that?
But I certainly had a short in the harness and that fixed that code and the new coil fixed the misfire.

I can say I don't miss living in Ks. My first 23 years of life was enough. Although I do miss the countryside in the spring with crops all growing. But the weather- to cold and windy, to hot and windy, just plain to windy

Ya this place is kinda like hell. It's ***** cold during winter then just as hot as Texas in the summer and it's almost always windy lol
