Hi everybody....been a long while since I have been in here. Not digging the new web style(atleast not on the smart phone) its confusing with all the.colors and what not...anyone else not liking the web page change?

 

Ya my xbox has been down for a few months now. Yet another red ring and the disc tray stopped working properly so I cancelled xbox live. Btw I sent you a friend request on PS.

 

Same here. Just takes some getting used to. I thought my phone messed up the first time I saw it. They just switched it I think yesterday or the day before.

Red ring of death? How old is your Xbox? I've heard from a few different people that Microsoft replaced those that got the ROD.

I don't get on PS3 as much, but I'll get on there and accept the request.

I had one of those that red-ringed and got replaced a few years ago. Two summers ago I traded it in for the new 360 S, and got HDMI, 250 GB HDD(old one was 20), and a warranty. I think I paid $90 out of pocket since Gamestop had a great deal going on.

 

Nice. My old room mate tried to scavenge parts off of mine so I'm assuming he's the one that broke the disc traybut the xbox had the red ring long before that so I didn't really care. I guess I may be able to get a little bit for it and get another one but I don't see the point in having both systems and I dint really wanna pay for live again.

 

I didn't really want to pay for Live again, but I really prefer Live over PSN. I don't like how PSN gets all clogged up and you get kicked from half your matches. Live is more reliable, but understandably so since you're paying for it.

I do like how PSN seems to be a bit more mature... or at least a "cleaner" gaming crowd. Live is flooded with 13 year old douches that feel the need to be racist, ****-talking asshats all the time.

 

That's very true. I'm not a big gamer and compared to alot of the online gamers, I'm not very good. Just ask Stu lol I've played with him. PSN players seem to be a little more accepting of my noobness lol that's also another reason I don't want to pay for xbox live is because I really just don't play a whole lot to make it worth the money.

 

OMG but I love those kids! I play MW3 pretty often with a few guys from OT on here, and we just give those people so much crap when they start talking. Especially since we pretty much beat everyone we play, so they just shut up real fast.

 

I hate the racism part. Since I'm mixed I hate hearing certain words thrown out there as if you can say it. Bothers me quite a bit to say the least and I wont let it slide in person.

BTW It was pretty cool seeing everybody who came out on Saturday. Such a beautiful parking lot when I pulled in fashionably late to see highly and slightly modified Z's all sticking together like a school of piranha. As the night went on it seemed cops were coming out of the woodwork though

 

A bunch of nice sports cars sitting outside of a bar in Addison on a Saturday night... that's like a perfect storm to Addison PD lol

 

yea cops are horrible in addison...couldn't make it out but hopefully this can become a bi-weekly thing

And yeah Skrilla the racism thing is the worst part about idiots on xbox live. I can handle the punk kids, but there are too many fuggers that hide behind the internet and talk $hit. I find myself muting alot of players.

It's also dependent on which game you're playing. We all know COD is really the problem.
