Most of the braking is done up front, not the rear. Under braking, the weight of the car shifts to the front, causing the fronts to work harder than the rears.

The rotor (regardless of slotted, drilled, blank) sizes are usually different from front to back, with the front being bigger. If the front/rear rotor sizes are the same, then you can do whatever you want (if dedicated track car with track only pads, put the drilled in the back).

lol i completely typed that wrong. Yes 90 percent of the braking is done up front. Why i typed that wrong i have no clue.

thats what i thought but wasnt sure. My willwoods have slotted/drilled all the way around. The willwoods have 14" up front and 13 in back so i know which ones go where. Just not sure bout the rotora

slotted rotors are perfect for the front if you track it beacuse if you have drilled rotors they tend to crack under hight temps. thats what most say. either way you got better braking power, unless you track it althe time you dont have to worry about it.

Use blanks unless you like taking mass away from a heat sink and want to crack rotors because they're drilled and not forged with holes. Ive had much better braking with blanks compared to slotted rotors. Slotted rotors are left over from when pads actually had asbestos.

I thought slotted was the happy medium because it offered enough heat dissipation and still had strength to avoid cracking like drilled?

Same with dimpled.

This is why I said put the drilled in the back if you're tracking a lot or have track pads which will generate more heat.

If you just do autox or do very little tracking, then you have nothing to worry about. I have DBA 4000 XS (drilled/slotted) in the front and put a few track days and several autox days without issues last year.

Car was stolen good sir. I will happily show you the police report and lack of a bank account if you think I sold the parts... That car was my investors car, he sold it after I raced it in las vegas.

Slotted is the best from all of the data I have seen. Drilled has the potential to crack during high stress periods of time. If you aren't racing around a circuit it isn't going to run the risk of cracking though. If you have to choose between front or rear, def do front.

Wow.... Yea, because I am going to risk however many years of my life and however big the fine is for something like insurance fraud? Strange how my car also had a single exit exhaust... A turbo kit, Takata Harnesses, built motor... I never have and never would commit a crime like that.

Wow... Just wow...
