I go to eagles canyon raceway - i'll call it home track because its in decatur - http://www.eaglescanyon.com/2008/home.php - linda's car is awesome -
- MSR cresson - either through apex driving academy or a drivers edge event - the 3.1 mile here is excellent - this track is pretty much as close as i might have come to an autocross - its pretty technical -
http://www.motorsportranch.com/
MSR houston and the blimpyard
http://msrhouston.com/ - this track has enormous straight aways which were great for 450 - 535whp supras like my old one - i didn't enjoy it so much in a celica though - and its really flat - and non technical in my opinion - although fun in its own right -
I call it the blimpyard -
http://grandsportspeedway.com/ - this is actually an autocross track they made into a road course (insert joke) - its small and technical SUPER fun and will wear you out quick - my buddy rolled his supra here - that was quite an entertaining day .... NOT -
i love love love college station http://www.texasworldspeedway.com/ - although i haven't picked up a day out there that wasn't tied to the texas supras event - this is my favorite track - it has bad *** history and its inside a BIG *** oval the back stretch straight is so banked you can barely walk on it - Mario Andretti set a world closed course speed record of 214.158 mph on October 6, 1973 while qualifying for an Indy car race. That record stood in the Guinness Book of World Records for twelve years. - this track really flows lap after lap - rhythm

to Jason, I've scampered through your DIY for years...lol
also its good there are a lot of fiberglassers here, I used to repair my brother in law and my 2 daughters surf boards. I also have those hawk pads. We will see how well they do. the new rotors have quite a bit more disc to them and my stockers already are sensitive so we will see how the new ones put me through the windshield.
I have a few things I'm doing to the Z so I plan on the mods this weekend, I to need to perform some fiberglass repair on my front bumper cover so I will be doing that messing with my plenum, the cover, installing the brakes and adjusting the tune if I have time

check the links for each track - eagles canyon is the only place i know of that is bad *** enough to host a track day each month for anyone - the rest of the tracks require you to be on with an organized event like apex or de -
i HIGHLY SUGGEST that your first 5 times (random number with no real reason) be with one of the schools DE or APEX both are great - PCA Driver education is a great place to learn as well -
http://www.apexdrivingacademy.com/ - john is a great guy and will get you squared away -
click the track links in my post earlier and look at their calenders - they will inform you when these events are, and you can register
I think it would be fun to maybe get us all in agreement sometime in sept/oct/november to sign up for an apex driving day - i'm hoping to come out and do some autocross this summer too - because i can't wait to destroy cones

Josaih - I fckng love my hawk plus pads - they are ridiculous noisy and stop like a light switch - i can't wait till the weekend is over to take them back off lol
Jason - I also like to do things myself partly for fun, partly because i like to get mad at inanimate objects and partly because i have no monies - unfortunately i have recently discovered that i need air tools lmao - no muscles! I'm lucky enough like you guys to have friends that can lift my car into high places and have air tools and presses - and alignment machines - i am very hard headed about asking for help - so the diy stuff is priceless - like who made the homemade alignment tool? i had been teetering on that thing for years but hadn't committed - that **** is awesome - PPAT? maybe?
you don't have a do it yourself thread on how to install air rams do you, hopefully that will be my next project so i can jack my car up without any tools because that would be awesome - lol - that along with the kw air ride w00t (these things will never happen but would be cool)

Your boy Jeremiah is awesome, we lost 3 people here at work (quit) and I have covered for them...
Twice I made plans to meet up, but then someone quit....lol, anyway he is patient and follows up and I'm meeting him tonight to pick them up with the price you gave me. I'm very excited. All my foot pressure going to the lines without expansion I'm hoping to be quite noticeable.
Anyway he seems like a cool guy going out of his way to help me out.
I'm going to pull a JasonZ-YA and take pics and write a couple things up while I'm out there doing my thing this weekend
Mike you going to gun range with us tomorrow?
