knocked out a wheel bearing assembly install today on my ep3. it was a *****. had to take all the bolts off the brake wiring to get the caliper off the rotor since there wasnt enough play.
axle nut came off much easier then i expected thanks to a huge torque wrench i rented from autozone.
the hub assembly was stuck to the spindle so i figured i would just hammer away at the hub and surely it would just slide off.
well it did... but the inner bearing parts seperated from the assembly and were still stuck on the spindle.
tried to chisle between the bearing and spindle to get it to separate but no dice.
i busted out the trusty dremel and dremeled into that biatch until it got a bit loose then i used the chisle to completely free it up.
put the new assembly back on along with the wheel tested and no more roaring noise!! whoo hooo!!
but now the ABS light is on.
i broke the lug key torquing the lugnuts down. so its gonna be a biatch to get under the car to check out wtf is going with the ABS sensor.
working on cars is never easy.

working on cars is never easy. That sounds pain in the butt bro...I do agree that "working on cars is never easy." But when you finish it's fun
Damn, I guess the news is spreading.
Here's their website, if you're interested:

The new drag strip is located in Crandall, which is closer to Ennis, but still "too far" for most people, I'm willing to bet. Hopefully, they're not too **** on the NHRA/IHRA rules and they prep that strip nicely so I can go break it in.
BTW, this track was supposed to be done long ago, but still hasn't opened even after all the construction was done I think last month or early this month. It's supposed to open last this month (
) or next month. We'll see.

Yes it was, closed down a bar in allen on friday for my sisters birthday, UFC fight on Saturday in Lewisville, police questioning for a couple hours yesterday.
Today will be nice and relaxing, just going to clean my car.

lol, they were not called, they were searching for somebody.
I was out on the bike yesterday riding with a friend and his brother. We were all on our way back to my friends house and a cop tried to pull the other two over. ( I was behind traffic and not right next to them). My friend stopped and his brother didn't. I turned on a side street and headed straight back to the house.
I had been at my friends house for about 30 minutes waiting in his garage. A cop came creeping around the corner and started charging towards me thinking that I was the one who ran from him. I gave him my ID and proved that I was not him. The 3 cops then sat there and ran everything on my bike and license, including 50 state check on the VIN. After almost 2 hours the cops finally leave without finding the other guy, who was WAY gone.
At the end of the day, everything was fine.

What is your bike the same color as the one they were chasing ?
And did you have the same color clothes and helmet ?
Cops are so lame sometimes...they couldn't bear the fact that they made a mistake...so they were trying to get anything on you.

My bike is bright red, his is dark blue. Mine has stock exhaust, his has a loud exhaust. I was wearing a black jacket and he had a white or grey shirt on.
Basically, they couldn't catch that guy so they wanted to get something on me since they knew that I was riding with them. At least everything checked out and I am all legal.
