LOL, hardly any of you, if at all, have seen those wheels clean. I bought these wheels to daily drive and track during the summer in Chicago and relegated my old set (owned for 6+ years) to daily winter duty. When I moved back down to TX, I sold my old set with snow tires on them (no way to bring them down ) so this is my only set. These have been and probably will continue be my daily/track set for quite a while.

I just used some paint pen from WalMart because I couldn't find the Sharpie one in orange.

I had white letters on my M/T ET Streets and always thought it looked cool, then a thread popped up recently:

Mike, your Z's looks more race-ready than mine -- you should do it.. in purple to match your purple car.

It kinda reminds me of Nascar....and I'm not a big fan of Nascar....But I like the name colored in.

Chris is starting a new trend ! Watch how many other peeps start doing this also.

I think Nascar does it in yellow. Most motorsports have colored letters, including F1.

Pirelli even color codes theirs:

Im thinking painting the whole tire yellow and leaving the letters black is the best look lol

I'll have my RE11's painted up for the next autocross - i'm going with rainbow colored lettering - ftw

I'm pretty sure that the orange tires were for produced for shows/displays only. I do know that there are colored smoke tires for drifting, but I don't know if those tires are actually non-black to begin with.

sup dallas z homies? hows things been?

auto-x'd the mazdaspeed yesterday for the first time. wheel was turned, car went straight, hard to kick the back out hahaha... it was also a very tight short course, so the mazda actually came in handy...

well just thought i'd say hi, and post a couple pics of the fall cruise i took with a couple mazda guys through the windy roads up here. it's epicly beautiful here right now.

Wow! Picture #2 is amazing. Are you sure you didn't photoshop that? We aren't used to seeing too much color in TX. LOL

Who's doing which events in the next couple weeks? I was going to sign up for the TT on the 14th, but I don't wanna be the only Z out there. Then there's the autoX at TMS on the 20th.

I know a couple are doing the autoX on the 13th, but what else?
