Definitely the most fun so far. I need to tighten up my Suspension now with some more mods.

I think I will go for some new sways Frt. & Rr....and maybe some new Shocks/Stuts. I don't think I can afford Coilovers.

Also still need to get that Rear Diff. with the cooling fins.

 

It's not even halloween and they say that we are going to get snow on Wednesday.

I miss texas.

I would just like to say.... My brakes have the potential to make me throw up due to extreme deceleration rates...

 

anyone on here good with html? i have to make a website for a final and honestly im being a bum due to the fact my upper level bio classes are requiring more attention and i just cant find the time work on it.., its basic **** with rollover effects i can send whats all "required" for the website if anyone wants to do it for fun for like a z or something :/ so if anyone would like to help a stressed out college kid whose about to snap would be freaking awesome!! Everything is going good. I just checked the weather and we are supposed to get 3 to 6 inches of snow by the end of wednesday.

 

so, i snapped my drive shaft in half. and nissan said they wont cover due to me being lowered. also, my friend and also some others thought it was weird that it would not roll backwards. im thinking its the diff. and THAT should be covered. opinions?

 

Should have raised the vehicle up than showed them

 

with a drive shaft snapped you pretty much have a rolling chassy.......

so if your not rolling? then the loss of torque or sudden jolt on fracture could have broken some spider gears or ring/pinion..........do you have a base model or vlsd equipped 350z???

- Jack the rear of the car up and turn one rear wheel at a time and watch the pinion flange where the drive shaft connects......count the rotations and see if all is well.


LOL at thinking they would cover you under warranty....why didn't you raise the car prior to going at least??

hit up a junk yard for a drive shaft......easy...i see them there all the time..

i have pics but i cant post it right now because im at work. it rolls forward but not backwards. i have base model. i was on the side of the road so my only option was to take it to the dealership bc i didnt want to pay for the wrecker three times yanno?

 

that ruined your chance at even attempting to get warranty coverage for sure...tow fee would have been worth it....

not sure how much drive shafts go for at the junk yard, but you also have to find one that isn't damaged......new, i bet is pricey...as its Carbon fiber...

and now you possibly have more wrong with your car that would have been worth it....

humm?? being a base model and not rolling in reverse??? drive shaft section is all removed so nothing connecting at all or mounted at all right???

nope, drive shaft not connected.

drive shaft is only about $140 so its not too bad.
