I highly doubt any of us have enough power to go much past 120mph, if that. A non-revup DE 350Z with stock gearing and stock tire sizes maxes 4th at around 112mph on the factory analog speedo.
Just watched one of my inside videos and it looks like I get up to around 120 mph on the factory speedo and that's with a smaller diameter wheels, so realistically I was probably closer to 115 mph.

But then again...keep drifting on that straight. and went 2 wheels off !
I can see a Zo6 or GTR going that fast down that straight...but not a Z.
Pat, I think your Speedo is jackedup !

You know what i bet you guys are right cuz i forgot i am running 40 series tires so my speedo is probably off. I still was damn near hitting the rev limiter in 4th and my car revs quite a bit higher than yalls. When i saw that 127-130 was when i was drafting that vette. I noticed after that, it took everything my car had to show like 120-122.

Also, I think some of you are getting the aspect ratio thing confused. That middle number isn't a "series," but an aspect ratio. That means it's a percentage of the tire width that you chose. 335/40/18 doesn't have the same side profile (aspect ratio) as 195/40/18, even though they both have 40 as their aspect ratio.
Aren't yours 275/40/18? That's actually the closest you'll get to OEM diameter (using 245/45/18).
Using your tire sizes as example..
Profile height = 275mm x 40% = 110mm
Profile height = 254mm x 45% = 110.25mm
Difference = (110.25 - 110) x 2 = .5mm
This is why 275/40/18 has the same overall diameter as 245/45/18 and why people choose this size. You shouldn't even notice that the speedo is off with that small of a difference.
Just admit it, you need your vision checked.

How long are your guys rear tires lasting? I replaced mine less than a year ago, only 10-15k miles. They have a 50k warranty...
I'm wondering if the fact that it's by far mostly highway miles at about 70-75 mph average is killing them quicker. I was at 4-5/32 before I left, and am at the wear bars now after getting back to Dallas. It's not even 2,000 miles of driving, and I swear I have tire dust on my rear bumper.

^ Check your alignment. It could be the road surfaces that you're driving on, also. And I think highway miles are easier on the tires than city miles, because of less stop/go, no?
If yours have mileage warranty, can't you get a prorated amount back or get new tires or something?

Well the alignment is as good as it can get, I think camber is always a little out. However, they are wearing perfectly even. I believe it said you need proof of rotation, and I have had them rotated side to side (directional tires/staggered wheels) at least once, and that's probably all that would be done in 10k miles anyway.
I just wonder if they would deny it for some reason. I think this will be my third set of tires in the rear. I'm on my second in the front, and they still look fairly new. I think I've had the wheels for 2.5 years, about 25-30k miles.
I can't find anything definitive on weather city of highway miles are harder. I think it depends on how you drive, but going 85 mph for a few hours straight can't help. I don't know how they react to heat exactly either.

Lol, you need to be literally on his *** to be drafting and there's no way you could keep up with a C6 Z06 to draft right behind it.

Oops, didn't see a C4 that day -- my bad. Was that C4 a ZR1 by any chance?
BTW, I was tagging you on FB and realized.. you need to update your profile pic, and on here, too. You don't have a blue Z anymore, sir. You abandoned us.
