Here is our last session of the afternoon.....It was Mike , Scott, then me...we all took turns out in front chasing each other.

Then I have the almost spin where I saved it...but went 2 wheels off.

Nice vid Chris, That is a great shot from the back coming thru. You deserve that victory lap.

What was the resolution set at for the gopro. I think I aam on r3.

This is session 4 of 5. I think my favorite part was the S turn on the front straight. A lot of fun to attack that hard.

I'm not too sure Chris...but we definitely need to get all of us out there again...it was way fun with all of us Z's.

Next event Pat & Eric should be driving with our group....and we just need to Grid up so we all run together....that was the key ! We would grid up early so we were in the front with nobody to slow us down....except Mike ! Lol

Here is a short clip from me getting loose on corner 7....I did that like 3 times on Sat.

Cool videos. I can't wait to get my GoPro.

I have a pretty decent diagnosis of my exhaust problem now. I'm thinking it's not the cat itself, but the A/F sensor that's before the cat. I think it blew apart and is rattling around in the cat.

If that is the case (I hope) then it's an easy fix. Otherwise it sounds like a cracked manifold or leak at the manifold somewhere. I just hope it's the sensor.

You better be glad there was no passing in the corners! you haven't seen my race line

thanks so much for the vids that is great! you can see where i thought, "i'm not going to slow down and i'm going to just take this hill wide" and then poof there was no track!!! lol

I'll call it slingshot - turn 4 and 5, if i didn't brake at the top of 4 and really stayed wide open, i could bury the front end braking going into 5 at the bottom of the hill, i swear i plowed my bumper twice and bottomed out fenders lol -

also climbing up at 10 i see some bad habits there - 2 places that scott was pulling me good nearly every lap - we had different lines - i think you were trying to tell me that on trackday lol

Mike, I'm not too sure about what you mean by turn 10 ? You mean when you were following me and Scott you saw a bad line ?

I think I need to grow a bigger mullet for my Gopro! Chris P your vid on the front sounded great with the engine and wind noise was not bad at all. My vid with the camera on top was really noisy.

Did you buy the hair special or is a DIY?

yeah i meant bad habits for me - Scott was questioning me about it - he said i take it wide, which i do but i have my reasons, it flows a little better for me - however trying to stay fast there with a wide line isn't happening - i think i'd need more power to use that effectively - but in seeing the vid i remember from previous days and events, i'm supposed to be hitting it a bit more inside - like WAY more inside - i noticed Scott reeling me in nearly every time on that corner - and i noticed going up that hill I struggle - watching this helped me remember why i should stay inside -

Oh...I only was wondering because I rode with McShane and he was killing it with his Miata...I know he is a lot lighter...but his line flowed really well so I tried to used his line with some exceptions for my weight and HP....like turn 10 !

I'm sure that we all could shave a few seconds or more off our lap times....but It would be cool to know if we got faster thru-out the day....next time I want something to monitor it.

Scott, what did your iPhone app say about your lap times ?
I think we were all pretty close.

Yeah if you come off the top at 10 and settle and dive inside touching the inside rumble strip, then drive it to the outside of the rumble strip going into the straight before 11, your doing it right - doing it like that however creates an incredible need to brake at the end of that straight away going into 11 though which is really crazy because itslike this - AHKHHH! - but its fast

i bet that is how McShane was doing it - cuz i wasn't braking that hard going into 11 like i should have been

Yeah, seems that way. Moving to Yellow didn't help.

Didn't they say they have an open track day at least once a month for $150? I don't see anything on the schedule for next month yet. I'm going to try to make it to those sometime.

Here is Eric and Pat on one of there laps filmed from the clubhouse.

Thanks for the info Chris P, I need to do something like that.

My best lap was 2:10:37 during the last run sesson, a lot of 2:12-s mixed in and then it goes to 2:16-18 when we hit traffic. The "Virtual Best" which takes your best sector times and adds them up is a 2:08:56.

Lots of time to be made in the brake zones, Mike said it earlier but it was easy to late brake when following someone and make up time on them. Not much for overruns on that track to cover mistakes. I keep wondering what was on the other side of the hill at the end of the back straight. Maybe I dont wont to know!

Sorry to here about your skiing trip Travis. I learned in Colorado and it is hard to beat that type of snow for skiing. Nice that they refunded your money its crazy expensive these days. I remember getting a three day lift tickets for Breckenridge Co in the 80s for like 45 bucks.

Have a good monday everyone stay warm.

They did talk about the open Track day for $150 but no sure if you had an instructor with you all the time. Which wouldn't be such a bad thing.

Chris would this troll Hair work ?

Travis....bummer you had such a hard time skiing....I do have to say that with way better snow it is a lot easier to learn. I know how that "man-made" snow is hard as ice in the am & then in the afternoon it is a slush-pie.
