Ya I've washed it since I bought it, I've just been really lazy about it the last 3-4 weeks. I've been telling myself I need to do it but i just never got around to it. I do really really need to wash it.

What about the "Parade laps" ? Wouldn't everybody want to drive their own car down there so they can drive on the course ?

That would be the only reason I would go down there is for the parade laps....unless I'm understanding it wrong ???

 

Chris, you're understanding correctly. Jake is the only Z guy not taking his cause it's not road trip worthy. The only negative is that they can't guarantee that we'll get to do the parade laps. It's highly expected, but not quite guaranteed.

Just flying to much on the weekends to come out and join in the fun.

I just put in a transfer to the base in Houston so I should have a little better control of my schedule and more luck getting the weekends off for racing. Maybe April or May so I am hopping for more racing this year.

 

Chris - no guarantee, but most likely it will happen.

Scott - I hope that works out for you. I got a call today confirming a transfer myself. It's going to be a pay cut (fewer hours), but it will be a much better schedule. Monday through friday and I won't have to get up at 2:00am.

 

I would go for a meet....Bone Daddy's or Redneck .... just not Tilted kilt.

We should meet a bit later, like around 4 or 5.....I'm not really into getting buzzed in the afternoon....I fall asleep by 7pm....

At least if we start around 4-5pm then I can keep my buzz going at home !

I won't be able to make this weekend's meet, but this will be my last weekend working. I'll be starting my new position Monday.

Ha I actually made quite a few races last year. I'll kind of be taking it in the A$$ with a hefty pay cut (less hours), but like I mentioned before it's a better schedule and I should be happier. I'm just glad I got all my big parts for the Z last year with all my overtime. Now I just need front tires and brake pads for this year.

 

Scott, thanks for the offer holmes.. But I hit up Travis already regarding a ride.. My car is setup so stiff and the 3.9 gears dont help on a road trip.. Im cruzin at 80 and hittin 3500 RPM when everyone else is hitting 3k or below.. I think Im going to step it down a notch on my gears.. getting 3.7's now (thinkin about it)...
