So who here has not front plate on their car ?

My friend sent me a text telling me that as of Sept 1, you must have a front plate on your vehicle or you can get a $200 ticket !

I just looked at my front bumper and I have no good place to mount my license...since the front bumper is a Amuse/Shine bumper there just isn't a place where it looks good. This sucks !

I guess I'm drilling holes in my front bumper soon....UGH !!!

Fawk yeah! Got a raise today and I'm registered for the autox on Saturday.

Chris, it's always been like that except for the last two years. There was a mistake in the law and they fixed it. It's still a fix it ticket though. Get that plate holder that Travis ordered that just screws in to your front tow hook spot.

I have no fix it ticket. I actually do not think it's a fix-it ticket no more. Not 100% positive. But the fine is worse now and I've read it can be a misdemeanor..which is stupid.

I have no front plate..well see how strict they get.

Does anybody have some super hazed/yellow headlights? I'm getting ready to try this uv-sealant headlight 2 part mixture restore I've been reading about.

I can't hook up a hose to our apt water because they took off the stupid handle to turn on the water. I thought about using pliers to turn it on but I didn't want to be a bad boy. I just go to the coin op and hand wash there and let them give me crap.

Some cops will pull you over for that no plate BS then tack on other crap that they find. I've had that done to me before.

BTW, I never ran a front plate on my Z and don't ever plan on starting now. Even if I do, I'm not drilling into my bumper.

Does anyone know who the 16Niss guy is who lives just north of Lake Grapevine? I was driving down towards the Murrell Park entrance and passed a large house with a cool separate garage and 16Niss trailer in the driveway.

Stu, I've seen that trailer several times and wondered the same thing....I even wanted to stop and talk to somebody there, but have never...ever...ever....ever seen anybody ever come in or go out of that House.

You should have stopped by my house....I live right up the street. Did you go for a bike ride at Murrell park ? Good bike trails there I hear.

I thought it looked like your area, but I hadn't been there in so long I wasn't sure exactly where I was. I was going to ride along the Northshore trails but apparently the rangers kept them closed due to the rain. Stupid me completely forgot to check online.

Track pads swapped, oil changed and rs3s mounted and balanced. I'd say it's been a successful day.

I'm going to miss out on this weekend's event as I'm in Vancouver.

Is anyone going to the 2 day BMW event in Mineral Wells? I am registering for both, hope to see at least one of you out there.

dyno'd today, running lean so a re-tune is in near future. hit 278 hp and 247 torque. freaking loud as hell... but so sexy at the same time

also finally got my stillen license plate holder, it has an adapter to fit in my tow hook, and the smaller shaft that fits in ya'lls tow hook, i heard that it is no longer a fix it ticket, but instead $200

Travis what was your number the last time we were there? Wasn't it 275ish or so? And the number before your art pipes?

Here's my fastest run of the day. Definitely some time to be shaved. Maybe next time.

Travis I realized later, it must be the HFC's on my mid pipes that quiet it down a bit. Yours definitely sounds more "open" so that would make sense.
