You could just ride a bike to work, since you know, it's right across the street.

I was thinking about that and I'm not sure. I bet if I take the toolbox off we could fit two, maybe all four.

edit: I just looked at the picture again and I could definitely make that work. I don't know if weight would be an issue. Doubt it.

Here's what you need for the new office! Looking at them now though I wonder if hail could come in at an angle and get under there.

that is like what dealerships have. i heard that there are 200 covered parking (not sure if awning or garage) but it makes me wonder how many will be reserved for the people with P titles. I get here early enough if they arent all reserved i should get one

What's a good cheap bike I can use to just work out? I don't really know anything about bikes nor do I plan on ever getting serious (at this time anyway) about it so the cheaper the better as long as it's not pure poo.

Yeah, I'm not spending anywhere near that for a bike. All I care about is the exercise part of being on the bike and I probably won't even use it as much except for when I'm injured.

Road or mountain? Mountain is usually more expensive just because suspension stuff, versus solid metal adds more. For working out you probably want a hybrid bike, i.e. it has a more comfortable seating position but works just as well on road.

Something like this would be good. Now just find one at a store that has a 1-2 year old model on sale for $200-$300, or buy used. I'd say check out Sun and Ski since every time I've been in there they've had lots of older models on pretty big discounts. If you want to go used I can probably help get it up and running for you if it's not in perfect running order already.

Maybe I need to rethink this bike thing since it looks like what you guys are recommending seem to cost more than I'd have thought or wanted, which was around $100. Definitely do not need or want anything fancy. I just want a decent, simple bike for when I can't run. Are bikes around a bill (new or used) even worth getting?

Well, just think about how much the parts should cost, and you realize where $100 would get you. They are POS bikes, and a lot of times the "mountain" bikes will say don't ride off road. It could very well work for what you want though. I still think your best option is to buy a quality bike that's been lightly used and someone just wants to get rid of. I'll keep an eye on FB classifieds. The other day some guy sold a bike that needed work for $50, and later that day it was up for sale again for $500. All I could see wrong with it was flat tires, but if all the parts are there and in good shape a lot of the essential stuff is cheap to replace.

Walmart bikes though I'd be nervous the person assembled it incorrectly as well. I'll be glad to give you any advice or whatever if you get serious about it.

Stu, what you said is about what I got out of what little research I did. I don't know if I'll go "off road" very often although having the capability to do so at will would definitely be a plus.

Man I saw that bike Stu is talking about and missed it by about 45 minutes. Chris I rode walmart bikes as a kid and never had one fall apart on me. Just snag a cheap one off Craigslist.

You can still get a low end mtb that is approved for off road use, if you feel the need.

Like this one for sure: http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes...port/3_series/

And I think this one too: http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes...ain/sport/820/

These would be good examples where you can possibly find an older model on sale, or just buy a gently used one.

I've done 6 on it before. Two on each pole then two standing up places between those tires and the tool box strapped down.
