I'm looking for a non-beater! Something cheap, but nice, to drive around that I don't feel every bump in or have to smell gas if I sit at stop light with the windows down. Might wait a bit though and save up, since I'd much rather buy used than lease/finance.

I kind of want one of the older Audi S4's when they still had the V8. Just not sure about maintenance and all that on an older vehicle. Holy crap after a quick search they all have crazy mileage on them wtf.

Is this how the FX drives?

If anybody is looking for a new floor jack. I just picked up these BEAST. Beware this thing is 100lb each. I don't plan on carrying it around. One of the lowest profile, longest reach, and highest jacking height without spending 300$-500$ for one. Original price was 169$, it's on sale for 139$ + took me a few months to finally found a coupon for it for 30$ off. Final price of 109$+Tax. Go to the store and purchase it, use this coupon number 77712611. Tell them you don't have the coupon and that you have the numbers they can input it in manually.

That's how mine drives lol.

Damn that jack is tempting for that price. Sometimes I have to jack up each side twice to get it as high as I want on the jack stands. I think mine is aluminum and somewhat light weight, but I still just roll it around rather than pick it up.

It's worth it Stu. The other jack I could only put it on the lowest setting of my jack stands. I'm pretty sure I can max out the jack stands height now with the new jack. Plus I could reach the front middle sub frame with ease.

Now that I think about, I shouldn't really need a jack much more, hopefully. I think my last oil change I did without jacking it up, just removed the lower pan. It was a tight fit, but I made it work. I guess it's kind of like a hydraulic lift, in that it would be nice to have, but hard to justify.

That is exactly the jack that we needed this past weekend working on Brandon's WRX. The two he had worked out, but he needs one of those. I have seen some like that online, but didn't realize harbor freight had them. Thanks Q!

I cant tell you how baller it is to have these tall jacks for clutch installs, or just to get the car way higher than usual if need be ( i use for Titan and Armada installs)

I saw this DIY/video of the power bleeder. Looks really nice to have for a 1 man job.
You don't need 2 people to bleed your brakes the old way. I do it by myself using a "one-man bleeder" tool from HF. You can also fabricate your own using bottles and a tube using the same concept.

For the K1 deal on Groupon will we use all 4 races on the 12th or exactly how will all that work? I Just want to make sure I don't buy a bunch of stuff for a good "deal" and then never use them. I saw something about expires June 30, 2014 I think, but the license was for a year?

I think you have to use the races by June 30th, but the license for the helmet / head sock is good for a year.

So yeah I'd probably want to use them all then, just in case. I have my own helmet as well I guess I'd use. Would be kind of cool to see if we can recognize each other better by our helmets.

The original plan was to purchase a 3-race package for $50+tax. This would still be the option for those that don't get the groupon deal. I would say those of us with the groupon should do all 4 races and those without can purchase a 4th race if desired. I'm not sure of their price breakdown though.

A single race is $20+tax. Just get the Groupon deal if you know you're coming or plan on going before July. I'm down to do all 4 races that day.

That sounds good. I'm driving to the land of 84's and swangin' the next day so I can just make it a weekend of driving.
