Maybe someone can help Kristi and I out with this question... i noticed that after she got rear ended that when she starts the car it wants to die...

now recently since she has overheated and i fixed everything it is doing it but actually dieing now. i did unplug the battery for a day or so and dont know if that reset the ecu?

if you start the car and give it a little gas then it is fine..

when you start the car normal without gas then it will act like it is about to die and recover or it will actually die..

Since she got rear ended I think there might be an exhaust leak.. would an exhaust leak cause this???

any ideas fellow DFW'ers

So nice outside, got to wash the car. The sun made the water dry though and leave marks but whatever, my glass is at least really clean.

Does it idle better when it is out of gear? What about when you are driving and clutch-in, does it stall? Throwing any codes?

its an slowmatic(auto) and idles the same.. whenever it is in park.. it idles just fine as well.. its just that initial start when the RPM's drop to normal it dies or feels like its going to die but if you give it some gas then its fine and will stay idling fine..

The plugs are a pain in the A$$ to change in this car. Also I think it cost a pretty penny. If not then let me know so I can get my plugs done also.

Lets have a plug change out meet.

I can help with changing plugs out. A buddy and I changed his out in about 45 minutes, he had an 03.

I just found out that it might snow on Sunday. I barely brought a long sleeve shirt.

Check the evap canister. It is in the right corner of the rear bumper. if it is hooked up backwards you can have vacum issues with your idle.

Great choice on the Quafie..My nismo lsd was so loud that I had to get rid of it. People at work thought my car was broken everytime I pulled into the parking lot. Also it killed my turn in. What is you lock set to? mine was 80%.
