Nice, you got that little filter thing that keeps the dirt particles at the bottom of the bucket. Have you seen some of the Autopia guys' stock?

Yup. Grit Guard. 2 bucket method ftw! I used to be on autopia a lot. But I'm GLAD I've passed that phase (for now). Cause detailing is no joke. It cost a lot of money for little ****. Shampoo, mitts, polishes, mf towels, buffer machine, sealants, wax, the list goes on.. But Yeah I've seen some of those freaks stock. It's INSANE, they have like thousand dollars worth of supplies. I would love to buy some more but I do not feel like spending money cause once you add 1 thing, you always add about 20 more things to the cart.

Mackie has a thousand dollars + collection as well. Very cool guys if you guys need a detailer locally with good pricing. He'll take care of you. He knows his **** and is a very nice guy. Everytime I see his collection I tell him I'm gonna steal it.

Can you take a good picture of it. So I can see if you could polish it out.

I will try. I was actually talking to Mackie today about it. He just happened to text me. Must by psychic.

Here are two good pictures. They are way too big to post here, but ya, they portray it well. I put a penny next to it in one to get an idea of size.

Oh trust me. The garage is not clean. It has a lot of crap it in from the parents! There's barely enough room to fit my car in there, and I'm paranoid stuff will fly into it sometimes.

Only smokes stu, looks like someone keyed it. You said you ran into the bush? When you touch/go over it...can you feel the indention? I am thinking you would need to do a touch up (can't polish out). That really stinks. The vehicle looks like it needs to be cleaned as well (judging from the ridiculous dirtiness of the side skirts).

There is a slight indention, but I have wax over it to help hide the scratch. I backed up along a bush that had sharp needles, and I guess I hit one just right. The paint is actually pretty clean, but the bottoms are dirty from mud off the tires. It shows up much more in pictures. I guess I will just have to do a touch up, I saw something from http://www.drcolorchip.com/ done, and it looked really good, but that's ~$50.

It's going to be hard to do it yourself it yourself.. I don't think mackie does touch up, but there are a few Autopian professional detailers I would trust. But it would most likely be more then 50$ as well. What size are your rear tires on the fx? I think I've asked before but do you own a z? Or used to own one at some point?

275/45/20, OEM was 265/50/20, on a 20 x 8 wheel. I have never owned a Z and probably won't but who knows. The FX is my third car. I had a '94 Volvo from my mom at first for a little over a year, '00 Tahoe from my dad for a little less than a year, and now the FX for a year. Finally got to pick my own car as opposed to a hand me down. One owner lease returns FTW.

Reading the past few posts reinforces how shitty I am at keeping a car clean.

I HATE washing cars.
