drifter, did you check the parking brake?
First thing I did. I made sure I didn't accidentally leave the parking brake up.

Maybe pads? Or parking brakes?

I talked to my boss, drives a sr20 s13, and he had the same problem. He changed the pads too and it went away. I might need a pad change, I am going to check the fluid/pad wear during lunch.

If it's pad, where can I get some hawk pads in Dallas? and how much do they usually go for?

Yeah, well join the club of the Geriatrics. That's almost the average age of most people on here. Mid 20's or so.....if your over 30 then your over the hill.

Then once you reach fithamoto's age, you're over the hill and back down from the hill up onto the next hill already.

Find these online or on eBay, and I guarantee you that you'll get these much cheaper than any of prices the vendors are willing to give you.

Why do you say that? I have Hawk HPS on mine and I prefer these over many others. I think PMu is overpriced.

I had oem, non brand, hawk and now running pmu.

Project mu is expensive compare to other brands in market. But I think hawk is just a name price and I didn't feel much diff when I compare to oem or other non brand pads.

Okay, just checked, it is definitely my rear brake sticking. Driver's side rear to be exact. The passenger side is fine. Drive side pad is worn down. Brake fluid is fine.

I found project mu ns locally at projectnissan for 64 dollars and I was contemplating on Hawk HPS to compare prices. I want to get it done by the end of the week because the Z is my DD, that's why I am shopping locally and not have to deal with waiting.

I have a question though, my pad is pretty worn down as of right now and I am guessing that is causing the sticking/dragging. I am trying to figure out if the worn down pad is caused by caliper seizing, because I don't remember hearing the dragging noise until yesterday. So I was wondering if there is a way to tell if the caliper needs replacing or a pad swap would fix the issue? I am contemplating if it's the caliper because the driver side's pad is considerably more worn down than the passenger side.
