It's a country club in McKinney. The scenery was nice so a few pictures came out decent with my POS P/S camera that I had when I was younger. Damn, already been like 3 years since then.
My fav, no photo skill or etc. Just like this picture.
I have one of those pics that I just like, too. Actually, I'm using it as my avatar at the moment.
BTW, who wants to go to the drag strip with me in November (6th and/or 13th)? I'll be shooting for a 12.2 or better at Dallas Raceway in Crandall. Let's see who I can call out.....
-Nexx, seeing how I did a 12.3 in May, beating your 12.2 should come easy (I hope). Time to set the bar higher again. I see 11s.
-Draco, where's that shop 370Z? Even if you don't have it, you know you're coming.
-JasonZ, I came to your autox event so it's your turn to come visit my track.
-Quaker, I recall you telling me that you've wanted to try drag racing.
-ezpotato, you're SC'd, right? You should see how much more power the supercharger got you.
-Stu, try to make it out if you're back in TX. I know you've been wanting to set a PB and with this kind of weather, it should be a given.
-Legion, you didn't even come out to the last autox meet you said you would. You now owe me!
-Walkert, new car isn't an excuse to skip out on events. If you don't have work, then come out. You need to see this track anyway.
-everybody else, come out to see if your mods have been actually doing something for you. Dyno numbers are inconsistent and can be fabricated at will. Track numbers can't be fudged. Plus, unlike autox, all you do in drag race is go straight. How hard could it be, right?
My Z no likely straight road.........but humm...let me see about making it out..
-J
You're always welcome to go down the 1/4 mile going sideways. There are many high powered cars there that drifts down the strip (due to mismatched tire types or lack of traction). And we have turns before and after the 1/4 mile.

Drag racing is fun. It's not often you get to just floor it up to 100+ mph.
Hell yeah it is! Will you be able to make it or is that before your Thanksgiving break?
bah, if you're a true enthusiast, drag, autox, and road courses should all be enjoyed! straight road kills my car every time though.
chris, no wheel hop and im in the 11's easy. i predict my axles going out next.
Well said, Jason.
Don't launch off the line. Ease into 1st and progressively accelerate through 1st and probably 2nd. 3rd, 4th, and 5th can probably see WOT without too much hassle even if your tires don't grip 100% right off the bat.
I need a 1.5 or 1.6 short time to get into 11s with my set up, so that means you should be in 11s without even trying. Think about all the BS I'll give you until you're not within my reach. BTW, see if Travis still has his DRs.
should have taken a fog picture with park lights and full headlights on too. I bet those would look just as good. Nice shots. I'm feeling a little inspired to go shoot some of my own. Maybe, maybe not.
