Ahh! I just got got pwnt by a plano po po for 59 in a 40 . I guess my V1 is way outdated for laser protection.

What's the best defensive driving course? I haven't taken DD in ages so I'm not sure which one is the easiest/cheapest. Can any speeders offer some insight?

It's not the v1..it's the instant on radar they be using. There's no radar detector that will detect that..it'll instantly detect you and once the radar detects it it's too late already.

Defensive driving probably easiest to do online, u get like 3 months / 90 days or you can do it in 1 sitting at the DMV.

Insight is to try to follow someone rather than being the leader. Or just try to go 5-10mph max over is what I do sometime.. I have a lead foot as well.

Edit: Cyrilic the ABSOLUTELY CHEAPEST is to sell me them project mu bbk's for 200$. That's the cheapest, I swear .

"Instant-On"
Radar guns have what's known as "Instant-On" radar. This keeps the transmitter in "hot standby" mode, ready to be activated by an officer when the target is within 200-300 yards. Practically speaking, you can't really defend yourself against Instant-On radar; if it's been aimed at you, your speed has been measured by the time your detector gives an alert. However, if the radar was targeted on a car ahead of you, a detector with sensitive reception will alert you. High sensitivity is what allows manufacturers to promote a detector as giving Instant-On Protection.

What's up with the Lounge being so dead lately. It seems like the more I'm able to check it the slower it is. Whenever I don't check it for a couple of days there are multiple pages to catch up on.

My350z seems really slow, so that might be keeping some people off. But I do agree, when you're not on here for a couple days, there are alot of posts to read upon the return.

Just go take a class that includes a buffet somewhere. They walk you through every test question before the test. If you miss a question you're a tard.

+1 ^^^

I did mine about 5 years ago at the Golden Corral in Lewisville. It came with a breakfast included and all the soda or Coffee you want. Plus you can get up at any time to eat something.

http://www.comedydefensivedriving.com/texas_home.php

I took the classroom course. They had it at a restaurant (with food) and the comedian guy was pretty funny. It was a pretty good way to get through defensive driving. Beats taking boring online classes.

There's also a promotion going on in the DFW/ El Paso area for this week only
