[DFW]: DFW's Lounge
So the carpet is one piece!!!!! Seems like I've taken half the effing interior apart, and I can't get the carpet out unless I take the driver's side stuff out too. I've so had it with this stuff already!! The padding under the carpet was dripping with water when I lifted it up. Luckily, it is just the part under the seat and not the whole floorboard area. I have it held up now and have a fan blowing air on it to dry it out. I definitely do not recommend messing with the carpet unless you have to.
Oh yeah, the cushion under the pass seat is soaked as well. FML

I would check all the wiring and ensure the ends if any were soaked....

The wiring and connectors were dry. I spent long enough trying to get them unplugged, so I know they are dry. I'll check on that padding and see how well it dries. If not, I may just take it out all together. Cabin noise is already there, so a little less padding won't make that much of a difference. Besides, with me crawling around on top of it and sitting on it while removing all the interior pieces, I was able to squeeze a lot of water out of it onto the towel I had under it and the pants I was wearing too. What really sucks is I can't get to the foam in the seats without diassembling it. I'm not up for that tonight. I may put a fan on it and leave it out of my car for a few days.
Yeah I have been to several autoX events where people have bought and mod'd the typical porta-potty trailer over buying the harbor freight special.....
A typical porta potty is Width = 44” x Depth = 48”
So trailers for them are prefect for standing up 4 tires across and sliding a pole through them or laying them on their side with poles going through the center vertical.
Most have to raise the wheels up and create way to have 4 larger 275 tires/wheels on a HF trailer thats only 40" wide.
With the harbor freight trailer its not wide enough to do this, so you have to be creative.....like shown here:

Just to give everyone a heads up, the DNE meet that was supposed to go on the past weekend will actually be pushed back and being merged with the Imported Performance Dyno day. It is going to be a fantastic day of Z's and G's all in, on, and around the dyno!
